at the first hurdle...

The 'try again button' is parked right in the middle of a wall. Excellent start.

ChOaTiC-pHoEnIx responds:

Yeah, sorry its beta

nice but still glitchy

i see what you mean about the enemies 'forgetting' to explode and the lag, but apart from those it's a pretty kickass game

one major gripe with this game

is the jumping - it's bloody slow and you can only jump one particular height/distance - no control (like tapping the jump button for a little jump to get cash or holding it down for a big jump over obstacles) - apart from that great concept, good game

MasterFury responds:

you can jump different distances. hold left or right when jumping, you'll c.

ok, improvements noted

slightly better physics than last time, a potentially good game developing here. still a bit fiddly but better than before - easier to navigate the level so you can take your time over each move

some of the collisions are still a bit off - i ended up walking around a few pixels vertical from one of the platforms i was on, but it didn't spoil the game

i say protect this one, but keep working on it as there's still room for improvement

ok it's just tic tac toe

and the usual human vs computer rules apply:
human starts = human wins
computer starts = draw

nice selection of bruce lee clips, made it interesting so i voted to protect this

ok pretty good start

but it's a bit frustrating when certain actions have to be pixel-perfect in order to work properly... there's a neat little puzzle element to the game in how you have to work out a good route around the coins but the fiddly controls make it less enjoyable - for example missing the edge of a platform by just a tiny margin means screwing up the whole level. not fun. I'd suggest remaking the whole thing - make the physics a little easier to bear but make the route itself harder.
improve things like the vertical gaps between platforms - they're juuuust wide enough that you can make the jump if it's perfectly vertical, but if it's a running jump (like the one halfway up the left side on level 2) it's a bit fiddly. if you sort out the physics you can make the levels themselves more of a challenge. keep it up.

excellent!!

you've worked out a really good system for teaching guitar one note at a time, the graphics make it easy to understand and the sound quality was just right. more please ;>

Nartak responds:

Part 2 will follow soon!

space invaders

points for effort but if this makes it into the game remakes it'll be a sad day for creativity indeed. all you did was remake space invaders with a sock icon, so it's not really worth playing. sorry and all.

Game-Sock responds:

hey look i found out how to type wierd: yóú súck dónkéy ród

pretty bad actually

looked and sounded quite nice but there was very little gameplay to it - the area of view is too small to allow much action on screen, and having to reload the damn gun was a pain in the ass. it would have been better if there was more in view so that you could plan a couple of seconds ahead, and perhaps make the blast range a little longer so you don't have to wait for things to get right up close before shooting. other than that, nice game, make the obvious improvements and you'll be onto a winner

very good, look forward to the rest

the opening sequence was a little bit weak (though i liked the way the dark ones appeared in the shadows) - the game itself was interesting and reminded me of the 11th hour (i think thats what it was called)

more please ;>
